About The secretariat of the Executive Council and the General Conference in the organizational structure document

This is a special organ in ALECSO’s organizational structure, in charge of :

  • Coordinating contact between the Director-General and the Chairman of the Executive Board;
  • Conducting preparations for the meetings of the General Conference, the Executive Board and the Secretaries-General of Arab National Commissions;
  • Coordinating with technical departments and Member States for the preparation of meeting documentation;
  • Preparing reports requested by the Executive Board;
  • Advising the Executive Board members and permanent delegates on the work of the Council.
  • Carrying out the tasks assigned to the Secretariat by the President of the Board;
  • Preparing the draft agenda of the Executive Board and General Conference meetings, in consultation with the President of the Board and the Director General, and communicate it, along with the explanatory documents, to the member States;
  • Distributing documents and reports during the meetings of the General Conference or Executive Board.
  • Communicating the resolutions adopted by the General Conference and the Executive Board to the Member States
  • Following up on the resolutions and recommendations emanating from the meetings of the General Conference, the Executive Board, and the Secretaries of National Commissions.
