The Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization took part in the MENAFRICA Digital Summit 2025, held on May 15, 2025 at the National Engineering School of Tunis (University of Tunis El Manar).
ALECSO was represented by Dr. Mohamed Sanad Abu Darwish, Director of Science and Scientific Research, who offered a presentation on ALECSO’s key achievements in the field of scientific research. He emphasized the importance of continuing to build partnerships with Arab universities in order to promote the sharing of knowledge and expertise. He also highlighted the role of the ALECSO Fund for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, which aims to encourage young researchers, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, and support start-up initiatives.
On this occasion, Dr. Abu Darwish, Director of Science and Scientific Research, and Dr. Mohamed Jemni Director of ICT, were honored in recognition of their significant contributions to digital transformation and artificial intelligence, areas in which ALECSO is playing a leading and impactful role.
