The Symposium addressed strategies for enhancing the academic reputation of universities. It explored methods to align institutional practices with international standards, as well as improve key areas such as academic quality, the effectiveness of educational methodologies, and the impact of scientific research. The Symposium also offered insights into Arab and global ranking systems and accreditation frameworks, thereby equipping universities with the tools and procedures needed to elevate their reputations and improve their rankings.

Additionally, the event sought to support Omani universities in adopting best academic practices, meeting general and specialized accreditation standards, and strengthening their competitive standing at regional and international levels.
