H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, announced, on March 5, 2024, the launch of the electronic platform of the Khartoum International Institute for the Arabic Language.
The announcement was made during the defence of a doctoral thesis in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, presented by a Chinese student. The Director-General expressed appreciation of her research and considered her as an ambassador for the Arabic language in her country.
Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Naim, Director of the Institute, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Director-General, indicating that the electronic platform will revive the Institute’s academic life. He stressed that the management of the Institute will spare no effort to provide the appropriate academic environment for teachers and students and to pursue the implementation of the Institute’s mandate for the promotion of the Arabic language.
For their part, the teachers, students and personnel of the Institute expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Director-General for this initiative that will help the Institute overcome the circumstances currently experienced by the Institute’s host country.
