The training workshop on “the Arab Framework for Description of Pre-University Education Qualifications in Arab Countries”, implemented by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (Education Department) jointly with the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, kicked off on January 29, 2023, in Doha, Qatar, with the participation of thirty (30) trainees.
The three-day workshop was designed to enhance capacities in terms of designing and using pre-university qualifications frameworks in general, and the Arab framework in particular. It was moderated by three experts from Tunisia, Jordan and Egypt.
At the opening of the workshop, the representative of ALECSO conveyed the greetings of H.E. Director-General, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, to all participants, and his thanks to H.E. Dr. Buthaina bint Ali Al-Nuaimi, Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education, for her support to the Organization in the implementation of its education-related goals. He also indicated that ALECSO is keen to scale up cooperation with Qatari institutions and benefit from their expertise.
