As part of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met on 13 October 2026 with H.E. Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture.
The meeting addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between ALECSO and the relevant Pakistani authorities in the fields of heritage and culture, as well as to expand partnerships in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, advancing cultural activities, and exchanging expertise and experiences in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening institutional communication and exploring new avenues for cultural cooperation to support intercultural dialogue, foster mutual understanding, and strengthen ties among peoples.
