As part of efforts to strengthen cultural cooperation and partnership between ALECSO and the Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe), H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, held a meeting with Dr. Chawki Abdelamir, Director-General of the Arab World Institute, at the Institute’s headquarters in Paris, France.
The meeting took place as part of the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing cultural and institutional cooperation and enhancing the Arab presence on the international cultural scene through the exchange of expertise and coordination in areas of common interest.
Discussions focused on ways to activate and expand cooperation between the two organizations, particularly in the fields of cultural and creative industries, the preservation of Arab cultural heritage, and support for initiatives and programmes that contribute to promoting Arab culture and increasing its visibility on the international scene.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on future partnership prospects and explore new avenues for joint action in support of the cultural objectives of both institutions.
The meeting reaffirms ALECSO’s commitment to broadening its network of partnerships with international cultural institutions and strengthening its role in supporting Arab culture and enhancing its presence within the global cultural landscape.
