H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on May 7, 2026, H.E. Amb. Dr. Youssef Ahmed Al-Kurdfani, Executive Director of the African Inclusive Markets Excellence Center (AIMEC).
During the meeting, the Director-General reaffirmed ALECSO’s commitment to engaging with active regional and international institutions and centers in ways that expand areas of cooperation, promote the exchange of expertise, and foster high-quality partnerships serving development, knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The meeting provided an opportunity to present AIMEC’s areas of work as well as its programs aimed at advancing socioeconomic development across the African continent. Discussions also addressed prospects for cooperation between AIMEC and ALECSO.
Both sides exchanged views on strengthening partnership efforts in support of entrepreneurship, youth and women’s empowerment, and the development of initiatives that promote regional integration, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and in the service of development priorities in the Arab and African spheres.
