The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is following with deep concern the attacks targeting the territories of Arab countries and the risks they pose to the security and stability of the region.
ALECSO, represented by its Director-General and staff members, expresses its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Republic of Iraq.
ALECSO also condemns the Israeli aggressions on the State of Palestine and the Lebanese Republic, reaffirming that their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity are constants that cannot be compromised. It stresses that the preservation of regional stability remains an essential prerequisite for sustained development and cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and science.
ALECSO calls for giving precedence to wisdom and dialogue, and for supporting all diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving peace and preventing further escalation, thereby safeguarding the region’s security and stability.
