Call for participation in the Introductory Day for the Launch of the Arabic Version of the “Skills for Innovation” Program

Amid the rapid transformations brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is a pressing need to develop educational systems in the Arab world and to empower teachers and students to acquire future-ready skills aligned with the demands of the labor market and the challenges of the digital economy.

In this context, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is launching the Skills for Innovation” (SFI) project, in partnership with Intel® and leading institutions in smart learning. The project is designed to support teachers in innovatively integrating technology into teaching methods, as well as to provide engaging digital learning experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity, and innovation among learners.

The project serves as an integrated Arab platform that combines advanced digital content and high-quality vocational training. It provides an institutional framework to ensure sustainable implementation, enhance the resilience of educational systems, bridge the gap between education and real-world needs, and build generations capable of effectively engaging with the digital world.

On this occasion, ALECSO is organizing an Introductory Day to launch the Arabic version of the program, in cooperation with its partners: Intel®, Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education, Classera for Smart Learning, and jp.ik.

The event will include:

  • Overview of the SFI program and its educational and technological dimensions;
  • Presentations by Program partners: Intel®, Classera, jp.ik, Millennium@EDU;
  • Sharing of national experiences with SFI Ambassadors from across the Arab world
  • Overview of Program components: ready-to-use educational package, teacher professional development, and institutional implementation framework
