Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and H.E. Mr. Tariq Salem Al-Akbari, Minister of Education of the Republic of Yemen, and in collaboration with the Yemeni National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, ALECSO conducted two training programs on November 12-14, 2024, in the city of Aden, Yemen.
The first training program was designed to build capacities in educational management, which involved monitoring the work of educational institutions and assessing their ability to perform their missions, with emphasis on pedagogical approaches, educational tools, textbooks, faculty members, and pedagogical supervision. The second program focused on inclusive education, with focus on ways to transform education and enhance its quality.
ALECSO was represented in this training event by Ms. Jalila Abidi, Project Coordinator at the Education Department.
The training was delivered by a team of experts, including Dr. Kamal Hajjam, Expert at ALECSO, Dr. Hany Ramzi Shafiq, Head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Education, Benha University, and Dr. Mohamed Saeed Abdel-Mottaleb, from the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University.
