H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met, on October 3, 2024, with H.E. Mr. Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education of the Federal Republic of Somalia, on the sidelines of the 3rd ICESCO Education Ministers Conference, convened in Muscat, Oman.
The meeting addressed various topics related to the ALECSO’s fields of action, including, in particular, providing support to the Ministry in capacity-building in Arabic language education, alongside participation in training courses and activities organized by ALECSO.
It was agreed to continue cooperation with the Ministry through the Somali National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, and to support projects serving the Arabic language.
