The Institute of Arab Research and Studies, a subsidiary institution of ALECSO, has released the first issue of the Journal of Arab Educational Research and Studies, a scientific semi-annual refereed periodical that includes research articles in Arabic or in a foreign language. These articles are contributed by faculty members and researchers at the Institute or from other Arab and foreign scientific institutions, and cover various fields, including pedagogy, educational planning, educational governance, comparative education, curriculum development and teaching methods, educational psychology, special education and mental health, and educational technology.
A specific website has been designed to receive the research articles to be refereed and published in accordance with the scientific rules set by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt and the other relevant Arab scientific institutions.
The Journal’s scientific consultative body includes prominent educational specialists and academicians from across the Arab World.
The publication of this Journal is designed to enrich the library of modern Arab educational periodicals, and is part of the Institute’s effort to further advance its research as well as academic activities.
