Designing a matrix for Arabic-language teaching using the competency-based approach at the primary stage of education.

Goals :

• Identify the basic concepts and the competencies/skills required for the teaching/learning of Arabic at the primary stage of education;
• Develop the ability to use the concepts/methods of the competency-based approach in developing the teaching/learning of Arabic at the primary stage of education in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation;
